Er war ein Ausnahmekünstler, eigenwillig, kompromisslos, an und über Schmerzgrenzen gehend: Der Schweizer Filmemacher und Autor Peter Liechti (1951-2014). Zu seinen bekanntesten Filmen zählen Signers Koffer, The Sound of Insects (Europäischer Filmpreis), Vaters Garten (Schweizer Filmpreis), sein letztes Werk «Dedications» musste Fragment bleiben. Liechtis (Film-)Texte waren Reflexion, Kommentar, innerer Monolog und in seiner Arbeit immer eng miteinander verbunden. Die bekannte Schauspielerin Nikola Weisse, die u.a. mit Werner Düggelin, Jürgen Flimm und Christoph Marthaler gearbeitet hat, liest aus dem Film-Text «Vaters Garten», aus Liechtis Büchern «Lauftext» und «Klartext» (Konzept: Jolanda Gsponer Liechti), nimmt an diesem Abend mit in eine sprachgewaltige Welt, in Höhen und Tiefen des Daseins. Mit Musik von u.a. Bach, Feldman, Cage; am Klavier: Petra Ronner.
