Wellness for the mind - The film shows in unique images the contrasts in another world and yet right on our own doorstep.

It is a homeland film of a different, quiet kind. It shows nature and life between Säntis and Hoher Kasten. Thomas Rickenmann wants to inspire people with the simple, the everyday. And he succeeds. The multitude of contrasts on this small surface provides him with the basis for this. The fact that he does without external sounds for this purpose underlines his intention to take the audience into a different, yet familiar world. And in doing so, he adapts his speed to life on the alp, where it is not minutes that count, but interaction with nature. One can certainly call this "wellness for the mind". The respect with which Rickenmann approaches the land and its people is reflected in every scene. And as a viewer, you enjoy the journey that takes you through all four seasons.
