The young underground fighter EMINE has fled to Switzerland from her homeland of Turkey, waiting in the transition home for a decision regarding asylum. Torn between memories of the past and the desire to start a new life, she discovers previously suppressed emotions and longings. She falls in love with Peter, a young attendant at the home. When Emine hides an illegal refugee in the home, their friendship is severely tested.
