LA FIN DA LA VAL L'E MIA LA FIN DAL MUND (Villi Hermann)

In fondo alla Val Rovana, in Canton Ticino, vi sono due paesini: Campo Vallemaggia e Cimalmotto. Trecento anni fa in questi nuclei vivevano mille persone, oggi ne rimangono una cinquantina. Protagonisti del documentario, Vincenzo Pedrazzini, promotore di diversi progetti per la rinascita della regione, e tre famiglie contadine che ancora resistono per passione del loro lavoro. È grazie a loro se questo angolo remoto e preservato del nostro territorio rimane popolato durante le quattro stagioni.

Im hintersten Teil des Val Rovana, Tessin, befinden sich zwei kleine Dörfer: Campo Vallemaggia und Cimalmotto. Vor dreihundert Jahren lebten hier tausend Menschen, heute sind es noch fünfzig. Drei Bauern, ein Einheimischer und zwei Deutschschweizer, die drei verschiedene Arten von Berglandwirtschaft betreiben sowie ein Nachfahre der Familie Pedrazzini sind die Protagonisten. Dank ihnen bleibt diese abgelegene Gegend am Talende ganzjährig belebt.

Au fond du Val Rovana, au Tessin, se trouvent deux petits villages: Campo Vallemaggia et Cimalmotto. Il y a trois cents ans, il y avait mille personnes vivant ici, aujourd'hui il y en a que cinquante. Les protagonistes sont trois fermiers, un fermier local et deux suisses alémaniques, qui exploitent trois types différents d'agriculture de montagne, ainsi qu'un descendant de la famille Pedrazzini. Grâce à eux, cette région éloignée au fond de la vallée reste habitée toute l'année.

At the back of Val Rovana, Ticino, are two small villages: Campo Vallemaggia and Cimalmotto. Three hundred years ago there were a thousand people living here, today there are just fifty. The protagonists are three farmers, a local and two German-speaking Swiss, who run three different types of mountain farming, as well as a descendant of the Pedrazzini family. Thanks to them, this remote area at the end of the valley remains inhabited all year round.
