Eine schnörkellose Geschichte über Sehnsucht, Liebe, Schicksal, Ungerechtigkeit und Gewalt.

An ordinary day in the megacity of Istanbul: Ten-year-old Cemo sells paper tissues in the streets, Hayat is controlled by her husband and transsexual Ebru sells her body. All three have a secret love and they do everything to satisfy their longing, if only for a moment. An authentic, delicate and unsettling story about love, death and the Turkish society at the beginning of the 21st century.

Une journée dans la mégalopole d’Istanbul. Far, far away and out of sight, that’s where April, Dave, Cindy, Rick and the Godfather are creating life on their own terms. From the depths of the flood channels under Sin City, to a reclaimed military bunker in the middle of the dusty, heated Californian nowhere land, to beyond the stratosphere where Mars now lives on earth. Each individual has been flung into periling circumstances on this rollercoaster ride called life. Through the hustle, pain, and laughter, we are whisked away to an unfamiliar world where we discover its inhabitants to be souls not unlike our very own.

Un parcours de montagnes russes, brutal et rythmé, emporte cinq survivants dans le tourbillon quotidien d’un monde apocalyptique. Un voyage de défis et de beauté dans des endroits inconfortables: Rick & Cindy, Godfather Lalo dans les canaux d’évacuation loin au-dessous des avenues rutilantes de Sin City. Dave dans le désert aride et solitaire de Californie et April en simulateur pour une mission sur Mars, dans le désert d’Utah. Ballotés entre tumulte, souffrance et rire, les spectateurs sont emportés dans un monde étrange, mais découvrent vite que les âmes rencontrées ne sont peut-être pas tellement différentes des leurs.
