DIE VIER TRILOGIEN DES CLEMENS KLOPFENSTEIN
Clemens Klopfenstein, das “Urgestein des CH-Films” war schon in Solothurn eins dabei, er drehte mit allem was er in die Hand und vors Auge kriegte: erst 8mm, dann Super8, später 16mm, Super16, 35mm und dann Video8, Video Hi8, Analog dann Digital, jetzt Festplatte. Lebt seit vierzig Jahren in Umbrien als Maler, Zeichner, produziert mit familiärem franziskanischen Budgets.
Clemens Klopfenstein, le "dinosaure du film suisse" participait déjà à la première édition des Journées de Soleure. Il a tourné avec tout ce qu'il pouvait : d'abord 8mm, puis Super8, puis Super8, puis 16mm, Super16, 35mm et puis Video8, Video Hi8, Analogique puis Digital, maintenant disque dur. Vit pendant depuis ans en Ombrie comme peintre, dessinateur, produit avec des budgets familiaux franciscains.
Clemens Klopfenstein, the "dinosaur of Swiss cinema", was already one of them in Solothurn Film Festival's first edition. He shot everything he could get his hands on: first 8mm, then Super8, later 16mm, Super16, 35mm and then Video8, Video Hi8, Analog then Digital, now hard disk. Has lived for forty years in Umbria as a painter, draughtsman, and produces films with Franciscan family budgets.
DER RUF DER SYBILLA (Clemens Klopfenstein, 1985)
Christine Lauterburg und Max Rüdlinger agieren mit nicht nur im Schweizer Film ungewohnter Beweglichkeit in immer neuen Freiräumen, die der Märchenerzähler Klopfenstein aufreisst; da Kohärenz und Rollenentwicklung nicht gefragt sind, improvisieren sie ihren Konflikt immer neu aus den jeweils gegebenen willkürlichen Situationen heraus.

Klopfenstein a tourné une histoire fantastique hilarante, dans laquelle les deux acteurs sont tout particulièrement convaincants, car ils mettent en scène avec un grand charme irrésistible et beaucoup d’ouverture d’esprit des problèmes de couple plus banals que ne le laisse peut-être penser l’idée des potions à maléfices.

he painter Balz, who sits jealously in Italy and harasses Clara, the actress, by telephone because of a lover. Balz wishes the rival all bad - and promptly he falls unhappily on his nose. When he succeeds in closing his mouth with a simple and very understandable wish, as required by his girlfriend, who has meanwhile arrived with him and is constantly babbling, the Italian driver realises that it is a brandy that helps his evil desires to come true. But she also discovers a magic potion that gives her the strength to transform things, day in night for example. She takes pleasure in taking advantage of it when Balz is at the wheel.
