Kyrkogårdsö, an island lost in the middle of the Baltic Sea. An island with eight inhabitants, who have belonged to the Nordberg family for sixteen generations. Every morning 5-year-old Ida Nordberg crosses the frozen sea to go to school. A film that examines the relationship of the child to the immensity and power of this landscape.
