A new schoolteacher (Enrica Maria Modugno) arrives in the rural lake village. She is beautiful, easy-going and self-confident, which is why she is regarded with suspicion - and interest - by the mayor and with admiration by her pupils. In particular by Luca, who falls in love with her as only a 15-year-old can, thus discovering love. Luca's feelings are encouraged, if not determined, by the behaviour of the teacher who, austere and strict in public and at school, does not hesitate in her intimacy to reveal the other side of herself, dominated by a sensuality particularly sensitive to the immature charm of adolescents. The one-to-one tutoring lessons given to Luca are therefore focused on just one "subject": sentimental education... Soon, however, Luca is replaced by his companion Titta, with easily imaginable consequences not only for Luca's sensitivity but also for the friendship between the two boys. And yet, during the inevitable investigation, conducted by the mayor himself, Luca and Titta, despite their rivalry, cover up for the teacher's actions, exonerating her, without the slightest consultation. Perhaps out of love, perhaps... One of the many possible reasons is that the whole affair could also be the product of Luca's adolescent imagination.
