Born in Lucerne, lives in Zurich. 1992-1993 London College of Printing, Foundation Course in Media Studies, 1993-1998 ZHDK (Zurich University of the Arts), Film. Her films HOTEL BELGRAD and YUGODIVAS brought her recognition at international festivals such as Locarno and Sundance and were nominated for the Swiss Film Prize. DAS FRÄULEIN wins the Golden Leopard at Locarno, CURE-The Life of Another the Max Ophüls Prize and MARE premieres at the 70th Berlinale in 2020. She is a member of the European Film Academy.
